A Family Tradition
Scenic Motors was founded by D.A. Gough as a Ford dealership in 1957. D.A. Gough’s vision was to have a local business that served the Mount Airy community with a personal touch and exceptional quality. Today, Scenic Motors is operated by D.A. Gough’s grandson and company president, Justin Gough. Mr. Gough continues his family’s tradition- expanding his grandfather’s original vision for the dealership to include multiple locations and brands of vehicles while still keeping his local community number one.
Modern Expansion
Scenic started small inside our original Ford dealership. We then moved to a 15,000 sq foot location in 2011. In 2019, our collision business outgrew that building and moved into our new 40,000 sq foot facility. Scenic now has a full-service collision center along with three dealership locations: Scenic Ford Lincoln, Scenic Subaru, and Scenic Chevrolet GMC.
